Jessica Ashman is an award winning animation director and artist, based in London. She loves moving things in tiny increments, creating universes too epic for their own good and Prince.
As a director, her clients include the BBC, Channel 4 and numerous independent film productions, both personal and commission based. Her independent short film projects as a writer and director have seen her working with the likes of UK Film Council, DigiCult and B3 Media, with her 2011 commissioned short, Fixing Luka, going on to compete in over 30 festivals worldwide, and picking up both a New Talent BAFTA and Scottish BAFTA award.
She also works freelance as an animator and modelmaker, having worked on advertisements for companies such as Toyota, Nike, Velvet and Nationwide.
Having recently completed a Masters in Animation at the Royal College of Art (2014), she is currently pursuing freelance work and developing personal projects in her studio.
