Laura Harrison is a painter and animator. She is the recipient of the Boit award, a Macdowell Fellowship, a New Artist Society Scholarship the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and most recently, a Guggenheim fellowship. Her recent films have appeared internationally in film festivals such as The New York Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, Japan Media Arts Festival, Animafest Zagreb, Ottowa International Animation Festival, Glas and the Boston International Film Festival, among many others. She is a graduate of the Museum School of Fine Arts and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with degrees in animation and painting.
