Candy Kugel started out as a go-fer at Perpetual Motion Pictures while still attending Rhode Island School of Design. While assisting designer Hal Silvermintz, she learned the basics of animation and began doing her own independent study at RISD. She met Vincent Cafarelli at Perpetual Motion in 1974. And in 2008 she won an Emmy!
