Danielle Ash
Danielle Ash is a Brooklyn based stop-motion animator of all things, from cardboard pigeons to light beams. Her projects in animation, puppetry and music, including giant cardboard zoetropes and miniature animated toy installation work have been exhibited in New York and LA. Her animated films have recently screened at The Museum of the Moving Image, on PBS channel 13, and in various film festivals worldwide. Currently in production on a sequel, called “Ride Again Two Dollars”, to her last short animation, “Pickles for Nickels”. Her imagery is inspired by monsters, food, and the moon, using cardboard and reused objects as her main materials of choice.
