After high school diploma in Applied Arts, she attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, earning a specialization in animated films in 1990.
Her first short film is “Giovannino Senza Paura” inspired from a novel by Italo Calvino.
In 1994 she realized, in co-production with CSC, a new short film titled “Oh-PlĂ ”.
Since 1990 she works regularly with animation studios, involved in television and cinema productions. In 2004 she moved to Treviso, carrying on to dedicate to the creation of short animated films as director and author. Her films, which are characterized by poetic and psychological contents, have been selected in major international festivals.
Two of her films, “Rope” and “The choice”, were selected by the Casoria Contemporary Art Museum. In 2012, the film “Island” received two awards for the best animated short.
in 2015 she starts to work on a new short film, drawn and colored on paper.
She has participated in solo and group exhibitions with painted canvas and video projections. She painted sets for the theater and has realized a film of 35 minutes used as animated background for a theatrical drama. in 2015 she is co-author with Laura Simeoni of an illustrated book of poems titled “A come Meraviglia”, published by “Biblioteca dei Leoni”. Later, with the same publishing house, she published a book titled “La Scatola Arancione” written and illustrated by herself. She conducts workshops and lectures both in schools and privately.
