Portlynn Tagavi

Portlynn Tagavi is a character designer, storyboard artist and filmmaker. Tagavi was born in Chicago, but grew up in Houston, Texas. She completed a story internship at Pixar in 2013 and graduated from CalArts in 2014 with her student short film Caught Red Handed, which concerns a girl embarrassed by her first period and the lengths she goes to try and hide it. She worked as a character designer at Paramount Animation and currently works as a story artist at Jim Henson Company.
