Director, animator, illustrator and storyboard artist, Rosana Urbes develops animated films, ilustrated books and art workshops at her studio “Planta Filmes”, in São Paulo. She directed and animated “Guida”, an animated film with more than 70 national and international awards, including “Animamundi”, “Annecy”, and “Havana Festival”. She worked abroad for 8 years on films such as “Mulan,” “Tarzan,” and “Lilo & Stitch” at Disney studios. The studio is in the development phase of the animated feature film “Nina” with support from Spcine and is finalizing the short film “Safo” with support from BNDES, among other projects.
